Bubbles

When these railcars were introduced, amongst the duties they performed were those previously undertaken by the ex GWR railcars, including the Birmingham Snow Hill to Dudley via West Bromwich service with which I was so familiar. Affectionately known as "Bubble Cars", many are preserved on heritage lines, thus retaining a direct link with those early trainspotting days.
